iGuard.org Answer/Reply:
While there are no interactions identified in the iGuard database between the ingredients in adderall and clonazepam, make sure that your doctors know about ALL your medications if a benzodiazepine (such as clonazepam) is to be used together with hydroxyzine. All medications with central nervous system effects have the potential for problems if used in combination without medical supervision.

I am having the same question, I am on Lamictal and Colonapan and I don't know what is safe to mix and my doctor doesn't seem to give me a clear answer, if you find out please let me know, it helps me sleep but I just don't feel like I am informed enough to know if I can add this drug into the mix

Answer/Reply:
I am taking Clonazepam 1mg 3 times daily and Hydroxyzine 25mg twice daily. The only problem I seem to have are dry eyes/nose (but it's winter and less humid now), and constipation as the major problem of which I attribute to the Hydroxyzine. They don't make me sleepy at this dose, but I do sleep earlier and longer than previously since I take them both about 1 hour prior to wanting to sleep. I still occasionally need my Ambien, which I take 10 to 15 min before it kicks in without any ill effects other than it's known side effects such as waking up with a box of crackers in your bed and next day amnesia.

Question/Comment:
Any drug interactions with vistaril if I'm taking toprol and altace

iGuard.org Answer/Reply:
Vistaril has the potential to lower your blood pressure in addition to toprol and altace. This potential is, in general, not sufficient to affect iGuard's risk ratings for these products but it may become significant depending upon other details in your health profile. If you're taking these products together, watch for symptoms of low blood pressure and make sure your blood pressure is regularly monitored.
