Question/Comment:
I use meclizine for occasional motion sickness (usually car sickness) after a bout of Vertigo 8 years ago.
My doctor says that because my vertigo was viral and not bacterial it might come back occasionally and that was a correct assessment. So I just carry OTC meclizine with me all the time.

Answer/Reply:
Did your doctor give a reason why you should not use Meclizine?
Is it due to interactions with other medications you are taking or because of a problem with the Meclizine itself?
Thanks!

Question/Comment:
Ive been using Meclizine since 2002 for Vertigo. I could not live without it. Some people cannot stand it because of the drowsiness it brings on, but that will go away after repeated use. Eventually you get used to it and dont feel the least bit drowsey.

iGuard.org Answer/Reply:
I use Meclizine for dizziness and terrible vertigo attacks...however, it doesn't seem to fend off the attacks when they are determined to put me down and in the ER. I used it in conjunction with Valium and occasional Phenergan when these attacks hit. The Phen. is a suppository but I've not had the opportunity to use it yet. THANKFULLY!
