Global Patient Feedback for Aspirin ( Post a comment )
Question/Comment:
I don't know of any other medication that does all the things that aspirin does. The benifits are worth any minor inconviances.

Question/Comment:
I take the baby aspirin for my heart and I started taking it a month ago. The doctor said I should have been on it for years. My old doctor would only let me have what my medicaid would cover and would not let me have everything I needed. My new doctor is starting to put me back on some of the ones I was cut off of and added the aspirin.

JUST WHEN YOU THINK ACID REFLUX (A NEW DISEASE CREATED BY THE PILL FACTORIES) IS CAUSED BY TOO MUCH ACID IN THE STOMACH, YOU FIND OUT THAT
IT IS CAUSED BY NOT ENOUGH ACID TO BREAK DOWN WHAT YOU ARE DIGESTING.
TRY A BIT OF VINEGAR.......A NATURAL CURE FOR ACID REFLUX. ALSO, REFERENCE
A BOOK CALLED "YOUR BODY'S CRY FOR WATER", YOU WILL FIND THAT 10 GLASSES OF PURE WATER WILL HELP MANY OF OUR PROBLEMS, INCLUDING BLOOD PRESSURE AND DIABETES.

Answer/Reply:
I would just like to let you folks know that for years I was on 81mg aspirin per day but due to a recent first heart attack which further damaged one of two valves that were already failing and severely damaged a third valve. I now have to take 325 mg of aspirin as well as a blood thinner to prevent another heart attack I am 51.

iGuard.org Answer/Reply:
It may be worthwhile talking to your doctor about treatment with other platelet inhibiting agents, such as clopidogrel (plavix), which are sometimes used by patients with aspirin allergies.
