Flomax has a side effect of runny nose. Does Detrol LA have the same side effect?

flomax does make my nose run and detrol is causing vertigo and
dizziness. I just started detrol so i will give it a little more time for
my body to get used to it. Otherwise i have to tell my doctor that i
have to stop using it.

I'm so glad you said that, I've been having some pretty scary dizzy spells and couldnt figure out why. I was on detrol for about 2 months about a year ago and stopped because it didnt seem to be working.
Now I need to use something and it's been 2 months and I get dizzy spells several times a week. Never even thought of the connection.

i started to get slight dizzy spells. I did not think that Detrol was the
cause until i looked up its side affects.
I will keep using it for another week or two and if the sudden vertigo
and dizziness still happens then I will stop using it.

I am checking now for side effects from this medication.

I am a 60 year old female and I have been on Detrol for about 18 mos. I notice an unsteady hand when using the computer mouse and more blurred vision not unlike vision when awaking. This began at the same time I began the meds and has not lessened. I can live with it if it doesn't get better rather than discontinue the med.
