Answer/Reply:
My PCP told me it would take weeks before I would notice any decrease in my depression but I noticed it the second day after taking the med.--I was not crying at all. I have gained weight on the med however, the weight gain is not near as bad as the depression.

i have been on sertraline for 9 weeks now, had really bad sideeffects at the beginning, it took a good 6 weeks before i felt better but im glad i stuck with it even though i did feel like coming off them, i feel 100% now, i havent had a panic attack since, so if you are taking sertraline just stick with it, it will work

For me and level of depression, for which they said was very high, it did help me a great deal to deal with my depression. So, if anyone is hessitant about taking it, I would say, do not be, to at least try it. It worked right away for me. And has really helped me alot with my depression, and anxiety too!

Question/Comment:
I really think Zoloft has the least side effects & takes only about 1 wk to start noticing a difference. I however think i need to be either on more Zoloft or be switched to another med. I really had to go off Zoloft b/c it has had no side effects w/ me.

Question/Comment:
This was a miracle pill for me, I had a hard time with taking care of small kids and losing my patience before taking this. I was agitated frequently and sluggish. Within just a couple of days I was feeling normal. I love my zoloft !!!

Question/Comment:
There is some discomfort when starting it, but the side effect fade within a week. Dry mouth is bothersome, but a glass of water next to the bed helps a lot. It is worth the wait of a week or two to start feeling the results. The results may first be noticed by family and friends.
