Question/Comment:
I have been taking this medication for a few years and the flu like syptoms still come and go. With this being a drug I have to take, I just have learned to use a fever reducer prior to the injection to help with the side effects

Answer/Reply:
I just was changed to this drug in June, and my doctor had me work my way up from a 25% dose to a 50%, to a 75%, and then to the full dose. ( Titration) This took a period of 8 to 10 weeks, and I take Naprelan (500 mg of naproxen) one hour before each injection; it has made a great difference! I guess they've learned some things over the past years. Your doctor should have told you at the beginning, though, to take some kind of fever/pain reliever! They knew that a long time ago. I'm sorry you had to deal with the symptoms for so long. Good luck!
