Question/Comment:
I am a 54 year old female. I am just getting over a very painful bout of shingles which lasted about six weeks. I thought I was going to die.
My Doctor doctor recommended I get the Zostavax Vaccine.
After doing much research over the net. The normal range of getting the vaccine is 60 and over.
I sure don't ever want to chance getting shingles again and would take the vaccine in a heartbeat but am very concerned about receiving the vaccine at only 54 years old.
Is there anyone out there that has taken Zostavax under 60 years old or know if it is safe to take if your are under 60?

Question/Comment:
I have been taking 1 Valium tablet + 1 Valergen tablet nightly for some time - with the approval of my doctor. It works for me and I get a good night's sleep without running nose, etc. which is helped by the Valergen.

Question/Comment:
I have just undergone rectal surgery to remove a small tumor. 2 stitches were used to control bleeding. It's been 10 days since the operation and the pain/soreness in the rectum was awful. I began using 5 MG of Diazepam to help me sleep and provide some some pain relief- taking the stronger pain relief meds Morphine Sulfate or Oxycodone inhibited urination so I stopped taking them. I also found daily frequent warm soaks help with the pain. If anyone has any other hints to help the rectal healing/pain relief please advise. I am desperate...Jim, Columbus, OH

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Before adding anything to your medication regimen, you need to check with your doctor. Creams that numb the rectal area are available over-the-counter, but make sure it is ok to apply medication straight to the area before using it. Tylenol is also not going to interact with your condition or other medications, but make sure it does not interact with other conditions you have and check with your doctor before taking it.

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Amias, or candesartan, is more likely to cause drowsiness than insomnia. Taking diazepam may increase the amount of drowsiness that you could experience, but with such a small dose of diazepam, the effect is minimal. If the insomnia increases or continues, talk with your doctor about the possible causes of this side effect.

Question/Comment:
I've used Diazepam to calm short term anxiety. I purchased Diazepam from www.medsheaven.com and loved the results. I continuously use it whenever needed as it calms emotional panic. It's a big help to me especially that it has no side effects.
