Question/Comment:

I saw an ENT because I have had chronic frontal headaches for 3 years. Medications given by a neurologist were not working. A CT scan showed sinus congestion and a deviated septum. She prescribed Flonase and Allegra. After a couple months I began waking up during the night with stomach pain. I stopped the Allegra, and the pain stopped. I did not notice any increase in congestion. Apparently the Flonase is doing very well. I also notice that my headaches began disppearing after stopping the Allegra.

Question/Comment:

I have been taking Allegra for years - it is the only medication so far without side effects for me. As long as it works, I will continue using it.

Question/Comment:

I have been taking fexofenadine to control minor skin allergies and sinusitis. My Dr sent me to a specialist to find out why I couldn't shift it. I had minor surgery to correct a deviated septum. Nasonex and Iprotropium bromide sprays, a seawater spray and the fexofenadine have reduced my sinusistis from being a constant problem to being an occasional problem that is greatly reduced in its severity. I have had no side-effects from fexofenadine.

I must say this pill was my miracle drug. after many months of non-stop tests and medicines i didn't need. i finally had a dr put me on the allegra. overnight i felt so much better!
they had been treating me for asthma but i really only had severe allergies! i was on advair, flonase, singulair and sometimes prednisone. i gained 40 lbs from these stupid medicines and had a multitude of awful side effects.
its been 2 weeks now since being off the steriods and just on the allegra. i must say i'm very pleased! i always take it with food as i do have acid reflux and have had ulcers. the first night i took it with strawberry yogurt and had massive stomach pains. ever since then i just take it with cereal or bread! no real side effects just awesome relief!!! thanks so much!
