Global Patient Feedback for Coreg (Carvedilol) ( Post a comment )
Question/Comment:
I started taking Carvedilol in October 09'. My blood pressure was starting to get higher again on Atenolol. I had taken 25 mg for many years. Carvedilol worked great after many return trips to my doctor for check ups. In May I started to have facial flushing and broken blood vessels on my cheeks and looked a mess. It stopped when i went off the Carvedilol. Now to find another solution!

Question/Comment:
I had open heart surgery the end of April 2009 and was placed on Coreg following the surgery. Other medications were discontinued about 6 months after the surgery but Coreg twice daily and lisinopril are all I take. What are your thoughts on my taking Coreg?

Question/Comment:
I have experienced extremely cold feet while taking carvedilol, and some tingling/numbness in my hands and feet. It increased my ejection fraction immensely, though.

Question/Comment:
I am on Coreg for congestive heart failure. I believe it has saved my life! Have to keep close eye on my blood pressure, as it runs very low anyway, but other than that - it's wonderful!

Question/Comment:
I have been taking Coreg for more than 7 years and have had no side effects at all. I stopped using it for about a month, a few years ago, and my chf symtoms returned. Without coreg I believe I wouldn't be alive today. Excellent drug when you take it as directed!
