Question/Comment:
I take Micardis for HBP, but it only seemed to control the systolic. My heart rate was staying in the 75-83 range which was uncomfortable for me. He started me on Bystolic and my normal BP at night is around 105/48 with a heart rate of 55-60. One night when I took it, it was 86/43. I called the E.R. but they told me if I was asymptomatic not to worry about it. I also take a 0.5 Xanax at night.

iGuard Answer/Reply:
The iGuard Drug Interaction System does not list a major interaction between Viagra and Bystolic. However, Bystolic may cause Viagra levels to be lower in the body - and you may wish to talk to your doctor if Viagra does not seem to work for you.
