There is no clinical information available to suggest that Avapro depletes vitamin D in the body.

No known or observed side effects from Avapro for l5 years. Is quite effective for my blood pressure control.

DOCTOR SWITCHED MY MEDS FROM LISINOPRIL TO AVAPRO 3 WEEKS AGO. THE AWFUL COUGHING AND THROAT IRRITATION I HAD BECAUSE OF LISINOPRIL IS ALL GONE. I AM A HAPPY CAMPER WITH AVAPRO. 150MG A DAY KEEPS MY PRESSURE UNDER CONTROL.

I have been taking AVAPRO for the past year or so....My blood pressure has been under control since then..No side effects at all...I am also happy with it.....

thanks for the info. my doctor switched me from zestoretic which has lisinopril in it along with hydrochlorothiazide because of a nagging cough which suddenly got worse with no underlying infection, etc. He put me on avaprol. we will see what happens.

I had great blood pressure until I started taking Presidone and BP started rising. This was 8 years ago and am now taking 10 mg of presidone everyday but still taking 150MG of Avapro every day. I have emphserma. No side effcts that I know about.

I was one of the voluntary "guinea pigs" for this drug when it was being tested decades ago. I'm still on it and it works great on my blood pressure.
I have found, however, that 150 mg twice daily works better for me. When I tried 300 mg once daily, I experienced dizziness when rising from a sitting position to standing.
