Question/Comment:
I buy Nature's Bounty 1000 mg Acai softgels from the drug store I use and I have noticed a decline in appetite for 4 to 6 hours after taking 2 softgels (2000 mg). I've also noticed that my Fibromyalgia isn't bothering me as badly either and I only just discovered today that it can be taken for Fibromyalgia. I got an email ad for some expensive version of Acai and I wouldn't waste my money on that, not when I can get pure Acai from Nature's Bounty.

Question/Comment:
I have been on Lovaza fish oil for about 6 weeks, and have lost about 4 pounds so far. It has also lowered trigliceride levels and cholestral. I have just started to take the Acia Berry plus clense from GNC. I'll let you know how it goes.

Question/Comment:
I have been taking acai berry for several months now and have not lost a pound!!!! I do belive it is a gimmick as all other weigh loss pills are. You spend all this money for nothing and get no results and I have to say it is quite discouraging. I will not be buying it on my next stop to the store.

Question/Comment:
I would love to hear from anyone who has taken Acai berry products, whether there were any bad/unpleasant side effects, if they feel/felt it is a legitimate weight loss and overall healthy supplement, and what counter indications there may be for someone who takes Lexapro and clonazepam (Klonopin) for depression and anxiety, Trazadone for insomnia, and has a blood disorder that results in a low platelet count.

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Acai berry is an herbal product. Its use for weight loss is controversial. Acai berry is not approved by the FDA. Interactions with other medications have not been studied. It is best to talk with your physician about supplements before taking them.
