Question/Comment:

I am an 85yr old female. I have been taking one 20mg Lisinopril a day for years for elevated BP. Is that why I have lost so much hair? I also take an 81mg aspirin every day. That's all except for vitamins.

iGuard Answer/Reply:

Grapefruit juice does not interact with lisinopril.

Answer/Reply:

I was told by a pharmacist that if you are taking any medications for cholesterol that you should not eat grapefruit as the acids in it can interact with your medications and damage the liver. He also said some blood pressure medications have that problem, Please talk to a pharmacist or your doctor.
