Question/Comment:

This medication works great! I've had phenomia four times. It clears my chest whenever it starts to clog up. I highly recommend it.

Question/Comment:

I've been taking a high dose of guaifenesin for ten years for fibromyalgia. No side effects and it gave me my life back! To learn how it works for fibro, get the book What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia by R. Paul St. Amand, MD. You MUST avoid many topical products while using guai to make it work for fibro, but it's well worth it. I went from being on disability to returning to work in 3 months and continued to improve steadily.

Question/Comment:

I have been on guaifenesin for 12.5 years. My last comprehensive chemistry panel (done in 3/09) was completely normal. If a problem with liver or kidney function was caused by guaifenesin, I would say that 12.5 years would be a good test. It, incidentally completely reversed my fibromyalgia. I have not had ANY fibro symptoms since 9/05.

Question/Comment:

This medication has been wonderful for my asthma! It keeps any chest congestion loose and stops me from unproductive coughing.
