I'm concerned about Flovents affect on my ostoporosis,any coments ?

Flovent which is an inhaled steroid typically has less absorption than an oral tablet or capule. You should only take your Flovent as directed and not exceed the daily dose prescribed. There were some cases of reported osteoporosis after the Flovent had been on the market but its incidence or rate was not able to be validated as the side effect was reported from the general population and not monitored in a clinical study. You should discuss your concerns with your doctor and if necessary get a bone density scan for a baseline bone level and have it repeated annually. Any major changes in your bone density would be captured and recorded and your doctor would be able to determine the best course of action for you.
