iGuard Answer/Reply:

At this time, the drug should be out of your system. It may take more time until your mouth issues improve. In the meantime, there are products that can help with dry mouth, like Biotene, Salivart, and Entertainer's Secret.

Question/Comment:

I do not take the Enablex any more. I take Celbrex and the side effects with the two drugs was just to much for me. The dry mouth was effecting my teeth. I now just control my bladder with no caffeine drinks and water at a limit now. I have not had pain or leakage.

Question/Comment:

What can I do about the dry mouth?

33 year old Female – Source: iGuard United States

iGuard Answer/Reply:

Unfortunately, dry mouth is a common side effect of Darifenacin. Adjusting the dose of this medication may decrease this side effect, but it is important to discuss this with your doctor before making any changes to your medication. If dry mouth continues to bother you, you may want to try sugar-free hard candy – some patients report that this helps with dry mouth.
