Question/Comment:

I had a goiter removed and thyroid removed in 2000. They "accidentally" cut all my parathyroid glands and I have been on Calcitriol ever since. Without it, I get the "tingles" all over!

Question/Comment:

I lost my thyroid and parathyroids to cancer in 1990. Without the Calcitriol I will quickly develope tetany. My only problem has been with my insurance company claiming that this is a vitamin supplement and therefore not covered. What part of "without this I will die" do they not understand?
