Question/Comment:
I was told taking Rhincort and Flovent together could be harmful. I know they are both sterios, one is for my lung and the other is for my sinus. Please let me know if it is OK to take them together?

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Rhinocort and Flovent are both corticosteroids. They are both designed to minimize the amount of steroid that is absorbed into the body, which reduces the risk of an interaction between the two medications. It is important to pay attention to how you are feeling and if you are experiencing any side effects, such as uncontrolled blood glucose, insomnia, increased appetite, weight gain, as these may be signs your body is absorbing more of the steroids. If you have any of these symptoms, be sure to tell your physician.

Question/Comment:
I find using Rhinocort Aqua (Budesonide Nasal) very effective to prevent or treat my sinus problems. Before I began using Rhinocort I needed to depend on frequent use of over the counter sinus medicines. After treating my sinus problems with Rhinocort I've found that I need to use this medication only occasionally in order to control sinus headaches and pressure. This medication is a definite win for me.

Answer/Reply:
I agree with you Rhinocort nose spray works. I don't like taking it for a long period of time because of the setrois that is in it. I wish they had a genric bran because it is expenses.
