Global Patient Feedback for Beclomethasone Inhalation (Qvar) ( Post a comment )
Question/Comment:
I've been using Qvar regularly for about 2-1/2 years. Prior to using it I would get severe and continuing bronchitis after every cold that would linger for three months or more. I also experienced some exercise-induced wheezing on occasion. I was diagnosed with mild, persistent asthma that was aggravated by allergies, upper respiratory infections and exercise. Since starting Qvar I have not had a single episode of bronchitis or even anything more than a very mild and short-live cough associated with a mild cold. I'm very happy with the results and have not experienced any noticable side effects.

Question/Comment:
I suffer from both COPD and Asthma. I was taking Advair (inhaler) for my asthma, but it didn't seem to have much effect. I still had quite a bit of wheezing. Then last year, my doctor switched me to Qvar. I felt immense improvement almost overnight. I haven't noticed any side effects, other than a dry mouth, but that seems to be the problem with all inhaled medications for COPD and asthma.
