Question/Comment:
I have taken an OTC sleep aid for several years and have no side effects. I try to make sure that If I do have to increase my dose to 2 pills at a time that the next day I go back to one pill. I have also found that working out (exercise) helps me to sleep better so that I can take only one pill daily.

Question/Comment:
I was having allergy symptoms and I took Diphenhydramine HCL 25 mg twice a day. It seemed to help - the dosage called for up to 2 tabs. but I only took l each time. One time I took 2 at one time and I noticed I had restless leg syndrome. When I went to my doctor for a physical recently, they noticed that my blood pressure was elevated 154/84. I have been taking it regularly and it has been fine. The only new thing I took was the med mentioned above over a two week period. Could this med cause my bp to go up??

Question/Comment:
After taking Advil PM (containing diphenhydramine citrate) for 3 days I found that I had to take more medicine each day in order for it to work and after the 3rd day, I am shaky and irritable, its hard to concentrate and focus, it effected my vision and ability to drive. I hate this medicine and would not recommend anyone take it for a daily pain medication.
