my son was taking amoxicillin when he was around nine months because he was always congested and i was told by his doc that he may be astmathic but as i was reading above and it said that this med is used to treat baterial infec.tion and that it reduces the multiplication of the bacteria. is this med used to treat congestion?i am a bit worry because i think my son was taking the medication.28 year female.

If I am allergic to all group of Cillin antibiotics, do I have to list all of them? And if yes, I do know only 2 kinds: Penicillin and Amoxicillin...what else?
