Question/Comment:
My triglycerides were over 400 for a year, I then went on Actpolus Met, Tricor, and Amaryl . . . just got blood work back and triglycerides were 133 and cholesterol is also 150 . . . Iwas quite surprised, although I dont know how much is attributable to the meds or to watching my diet?

iGuard Answer/Reply:
Congratulations on the drastic reduction in your triglycerides and cholesterol! What a wonderful step to improving your health and well-being! As to the credit for this reduction, it is most likely a combination of both your medication and your dietary changes. Please continue the dietary changes you have made and keep up the good work!

Question/Comment:
I have been on Janumet for seven months. For the past two months I have had a rash on my face that keeps getting worse plus I developed watering in both eyes constantly. I thought I had an allergy to something and finally went to the doctor. My doctor immediately took me off of Janumet and put me on Actoplus Met. He said normally a reaction would be a rash all over my body but in my case this was not so. From his comments I believe this must be happening frequently as a reaction to Januvia or Janument.

Question/Comment:
My sugars and triglycerides we way to high before I took actoplus met. My A1C is now 5.9 and my triglyecerirides are below 150. My HDL and LDL are now perfect. I also take tricor,Aciphex, and Lipitor with no problems. I would say this drug has spared me the insulin needle.
