Question/Comment:
I am currently taking Saizen for depression. Until 2 weeks ago, the dose was 1cc SQ @hs.
That dose was reduced to0.75cc q 2 days due to pain & stiffness in both hands, as well as pain
in both elbows. I had been on the 1cc dose for approx. 4-5 mos.
In addition, and I don't know if the Saizen is responsible, my TSH ( which had been at approx. 6.0 on a dose of 0.075mg of synthroid) 6 weeks ago went up to 38. At that point, my synthroid
was increased to 0.125mg. My TSH was again tested about a week ago and its still high @ 28. So, my synthroid was again increased to 0.175mg a few days ago. Could the Saizen be
responsible?
