Question/Comment:
I have been on this drug for a few months and find the gas/bloating is not going away and because this is the only medication at present I am taking for diabetes, I am thinking of changing back to one previously taken called gluconorm. Will confirm with doctor first.

Question/Comment:
This med caused me to have large amounts of gas within 2 hours of taking it for the first three weeks, however after that hte gas did decrease, so you moght want to avoid gas producing foods during the first few weeks, and plan outings around the times you are going to have the most gas.
