Question/Comment:

I have been on Lovaza fish oil for about 6 weeks, and have lost about 4 pounds so far. It has also lowered trigliceride levels and cholestral. I have just started to take the Acia Berry plus clense from GNC. I'll let you know how it goes.

Question/Comment:

I have been taking acai berry for several months now and have not lost a pound!!!! I do belive it is a gimmick as all other weigh loss pills are. You spend all this money for nothing and get no results and I have to say it is quite discouraging. I will not be buying it on my next stop to the store.

Question/Comment:

I would love to hear from anyone who has taken Acai berry products, whether there were any bad/unpleasant side effects, if they feel/felt it is a legitimate weight loss and overall healthy supplement, and what counter indications there may be for someone who takes Lexapro and clonazepam (Klonopin) for depression and anxiety, Trazadone for insomnia, and has a blood disorder that results in a low platelet count.

iGuard Answer/Reply:

Acai berry is an herbal product. Its use for weight loss is controversial. Acai berry is not approved by the FDA. Interactions with other medications have not been studied. It is best to talk with your physician about supplements before taking them.

Question/Comment:

I'm currently on heart and bp medications - Lipitor, Plavix, Metoprolol, Amlodopine Besylate and Enalapril Mal. Would like to begin Acai Berry Diet for weight loss as well as health benefits. Acai contains vitamin K which would effect blood thinning meds and is also high in Potassium and Calcium. Can it be taken with current meds or am I able to go off current meds and replace with Acai. My weight is huge contributing factor to health issues and the quicker I lose, the sooner I can get off the chemical drugs and onto NATURAL healing. Pls advise.
