Question/Comment:
When I Take vicodin 500 mg. about 4 times per day. I have very bad nightmares. It really messes with my head when I'm just starting to doze off. Very bad head spinning & can't seem to come out of it. I only do it when i take the pills. I;m sure it's not normal. Very scary feeling. Is it caused from taking it?

Question/Comment:
I took one Vicodin (actually generic hydrocodone-APAP 5-500) last night for pain from a pulled muscle in my shoulder. Around the same time I experienced some pain relief, my throat got all filled with mucus and my eyes ran like fountains. I had to take a Benedryl which stopped those symptoms. I don't find these symptoms listed as Vicodin side effects. Did I have an allergic reaction? I should probably also say that earlier in the evening I had a shot of Toradol at the walk in.

Answer/Reply from iGuard:
Although these are symptoms of an allergic reaction, it is difficult to say what caused your mucus and watery eyes. It may have been the medications, or maybe it was something else you were exposed to in the air. You should let your doctor know about your experience - he or she can better determine what might have caused the mucus and watery eyes.
