I agree with the 'green' consideration .... Why a new iknhaler with every perscription?

Question/Comment:

My medication was changed two months ago from Vospire and Pro-Air to Spiriva and Advair. Wow! I can't believe how much better I'm breathing and my overall energy level has improved now that I'm not having as many asthma attacks. My only complaint is I find it wasteful to get a new handihaler with every refill. Let's think green and simply wash the mouthpiece like I do anyway!

How long are you suppose to hold in Spriva before exhaling?

Exhale completely before bringing the inhaler toward your mouth. Breathe in slowly and deeply until your lungs are full. Hold your breath as long as is comfortable while removing the inhaler from your mouth. Resume normal breathing.
