I have been on this medication for a little over a month now and the main issue or side-effect that I have relates to my breasts. My breasts are extremely sore. My breast are not extremely large; I wear a 36B bra, however, I find that the only way I can relieve some of the tenderness is to wear a bra at all times; even while sleeping. Is this something most other women experience while taking this drug, and if so, is there anything, aside from not taking the medication, that can relieve this symptom?

I have been taking Prempro for less than a month. I am about on day 14. I feel as if a menstral cycle has started this week with bleeding and cramps. Should I continue to take Prempro or stop through this period? I went a whole year without a period last year but had one menstral period4 months ago.

The best thing to do would be to discuss this with your doctor. However, if I recall correctly, during my earlier stages of menopause, and when I first started to use Prempro, I had some spotting and cramps on occasion. Eventually it they went away, completely. Having said this, I still say it’s best to speak with your doctor about this. You just never know from one person to the next what such symptoms might mean.

That happen to me I called my Doctor and he put me on the lowest dose which is 0.3/1.5MG EZ-DL

I am 49 years old and have been taking Prempro for several months. It has help so much with menopausal syptoms. I was very pleased with it until I found out about the increased chance of getting dementia. My Grandmother had dementia and my Mother does, so this really scares me. Any advice? (I have had problems with depression and anxiety all my life. I am on medication for these too.)

as long as you have no preexisting conditions that can be affected by Prempro I see no reason not to take it
