i am a 69 year old women and have been taking premarin since i was 46..i have had no negative symptoms..my skin is good as well as strong bones..i do take progesterone every three months for 14 days to balance out the premarin..

i am a 69 year old women and have been on premarin since i was 46 years old..i Ihave never had any of the negative symtoms discribed..my skin and bones as well a general well being are great..although i do take progesterine for 14 days every 3 months to balance..

I HAVE BEEN TAKING PREMERIN FOR ABOUT 48 YEARS. HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL ONLY WHEN THE DR. WANTED TOOK MEOFF OF IT. I GOT THE HOT FLASHES BACK AND SEEMED TO GET QUITE IRRATABLE SO I WAS TOLD. AM NOW ON THE LOWEST DOSAGE AND HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN IT EVEY DAY AND WILL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. MY UROGLOGIST ALSO GAVE ME THE VAGINAL CREAM..HOWEVER ONLY USE IT SPASMODICALLY, BUT IS A GREAT AID..

I have taken Premarin for 20 years. After my partial hysterectomy. To me its a wonder drug.
No more hot flashes. I sleep good at night,and my bone scan is good.I also have a
mammogram every year. I feel great.

I had my hysterectomy in 2004... been on and off the premarin, more often off because I do not suffer the hot flashes or other menopausal symptoms, Premarin makes me have severe adult acne which I get fed up with and quit taking it... only thing about the premarin I do like is I have problems with vaginal dryness and stress incontinence, Premarin does help with those two things!
