I also use Novolog in my pump... been diabetic for 24 years in May, was always brittle until I finally got the pump, now my sugars run alot better! (Wish I could say 6.2, but 6.9 is good enough for me)
As a nurse, yes, monitor your blood sugars very closely and keep track of your carb intake!

I use Novolog in my insulin pump and have had nothing but awesome results. 23 years of type 1 diabetes and my HbA1C is 6.2%

When My sugar goes high sugar levels--I use 2 units of novolog.

Once you've taken your dose, be careful not to wait too long before eating. Also, small doses absorb better, so try not to eat too many carbs at once.
