Question/Comment:

I was diagnosed manic depressive when I was 18 years old. It took about 20 years before they finally decided I was BP. They tried all kinds of different medications, they started me out on Lithium which helped for quite a few years. Then they put me on Depakote in 2002, it worked really well, but I started noticing tremors in my hands. I tried telling my Psych that the Depakote was the cause, but it took 6 years before she finally realized That I was probably right, so she took me off of it and put me on Lamictal and the tremors went away. I now take 150 mgs. of Lamictal and my mood swings have never been controlled so well. I've suffered no side-affects and I've never felt better in my life. Lamictal is great!!!!!!
