Question/Comment:
I was taking Celebrex (200 mg 2x day) for severe knee OA but had the stomach flu and stopped taking it. I switched to 8 hour Tylenol and that seemed to do the trick. Three weeks later I had an episode of SVTs (SupraVentricular Tacacardia). Now I am wondering 1) if this was caused by taking the Celebrex and 2) if there is permanent damage to my heart. I have been surfing the web, but have not found info on this subject. Any direction to resources would be appreciated. I see my doc this week to begin cardiac assessment.

Question/Comment:
For those concerned about the side effects during pregnancy, simply replace taking the meds temperarily with Glucosamine with MSM as well as Coral Calcium (the one that says 1,000 mg on it at walmart cause it replaces the need for pills for leg cramps as well); I hope that helps, if you have any other nutritional questions, yahoo me anytime: rosered6682

Question/Comment:
Celebrex is NOT a pain reliever, it is an anti inflammatory medicine. I have been taking it for several years not. Some days are better than others but for the most part it really helps me. As for the side affects, they have been known to cause, NOT do cause. Some people have them and some don't. I don't have any side affects and I take requip and zoloft with it.
