WHAT DOES IT DO?
This product is primarily used in the treatment of high blood pressure, although it is also used less frequently to treat diabetes related kidney damage. It works by blocking the action of Angiotensin II, a chemical that triggers constriction of blood vessels.

Question/Comment:

I was prescribed Liprinisil several months ago. I got the cough and mucus irritation, especially at night. Dr. switched me to Avapro and I developed severe fatigue. I said not doing this and went back to Liprinisil and put up with the cough. Dr. did give me something to slighly deaden
my throat to help with the cough.

Prior to Avapro I was taking another medication that caused me to cough sometimes almost night I called my Dr. and said I needed a different medication He prescribed Avapro it was an immediate success and even tho my insurance will only pay for a generic I refuse to switch so they only give me a ten dollar co-pay and I pay $60.00 per month I will never switch. 77 year old female.
