Question/Comment:
I HAVE BEEN ON THE NUVA RING FOR TWO YEARS AND IT WORKS GREAT I LOVE IT AND WOULDNT CHANGE IT FOR ANYTHING ELSE. IT DOESNT GIVE ME CRAMPS OR GETS ME BLOATED. YOU COULD ONLY GET IT WITH PRESCRIPTION. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO EVERY FEMALE.

Answer/Reply:
If you already have children I would get An IUD. But if you haven't you need to protect yourself by using at least a male or female condom.

dunno.......u better don't haf intercourse if u dun plan to conceive a baby......many ppl regret once they conceive and unexpectedly, this affects the new born child......a life is still a life to be cherished, so take care and be smart in ur actions!! withdrawal is safe if you are fast at it, but nothing can be guaranteed....wish u good luck ^^

Question/Comment:
I am using the Implanon implant for birth control. Does anyone know if it causes bleeding all of the time? I am wondering if I should consult my doctor. Any thoughts or suggestions?

iGuard.org Answer/Reply:
The most common side effect of Implanon is a change in your menstrual period. You can expect your menstrual periods to be irregular and unpredictable throughout the time you are using Implanon. You may have more bleeding, less bleeding or no bleeding. The time between periods may vary, and you may have spotting in between periods.
It's a good idea to talk to your doctor about your concerns, especially if your bleeding is heavy and prolonged,

Iv been on it since January 07 And have had a period almost contantly since.... the first two months was constant, then april was "normal" and so was may, then june it was every two weeks and lasted for about 4 to 5 days same with july. Since august Iv had "spotting" at least once a day, that is up untill a week ago, now there is nothing. When I asked my Dr. she said the same thing...."expect irregularly irregular periods" "unlike most B/C's this doesn't mellow out as your body gets used to it"---- I like the 3 year thing but I'm not sure it's worth it. Mine were never normal to begin with but I had hope in April and May but that just proved to be a tease.
