Answer/Reply:
I have recently received and have been taking a daily dose of Propafenone which exceeds the prescribed 300mg . Since taking this overdose my feet have been swollen and pain is constant. I feel certain this medication is the cause; however due to the combative nature of my doctor it is not possible to ask him a question about medications he has prescribed.
I have received a recall for the excesive . tablets but am not aware of how much of an increase they contained . It seems possible because of the pill size I have been taking 600 mg perv day. please let me know if the over dose could be the cause of my swollen feet

Question/Comment:
I was put on 10 mg. of lipitor in 2004 because of family history of heart disease and high cholesteral. My level then was 199 but dr. wanted it lower because my mother and uncle had had heart attacks in 40's and 50's. My mom had passed away in 2004 and I went through a long period of grief so I contributed my feelings of tiredness with depression over her death. In Aug. 2008 I started feeling sick and complained to Dr. with extreme tiredness muscle aches and joint pain. Blood tests revealed nothing. This went on for six months right shoulder got frozen and had to have threapy for that, another Dr. took me off the lipitor immediately and put me on coq10, he explained how statins delete this from your body. Took about 3 weeks before I started to feel better. I still have joint and muscle pain and the tiredness has returned, only thing they have found so far is Vit. D levels were at 200, I now have unexplaind blood in urine, I feel like my body has been severely compromised and I will never know what damage has been done. After being off the lipitor since March 2008 my cholesteral level was 177. Please try diet before going on this drug.
