Question/Comment:

LONG ISLAND PRESS for August 16-22, 2007
Health Wise, by Dr. Aretha Persaud-Mancusi
"UNDERSTANDING CHOLESTEROL", pg.52

"...Elevated triglyceride levels are associated with increased intake of carbohydrates (bread,
rice, pasta or patatoes) and therefore increased risk of diabetes.", "...the triglycerides, a type
of fat in the blood, should be less than 150mg/dl." Now ya know why!
Dr. A.P.-Mancusi does an excellent job of explaining cholesterol and how to reduce the LDL
