Recall of Several Brands of Diphenhydramine HCL 25 mg Capsules
Kirk Pharmaceuticals, LLC is recalling a single lot of diphenhydramine HCL 25 mg capsules sold over-the-counter (OTC). Lot number BK549 is being recalled because routine testing of capsules in this lot found capsules that were less potent. The loss of potency is due to improper storage conditions of the product during transportation.

Diphenhydramine is commonly used in the treatment of allergies, congestion and allergic reactions. Diphenydramine is sold under many brand names. This recall alert only applies this single lot BK549 of diphenhydramine 25 mg capsules made by Kirk Pharmaceuticals. No other diphenhydramine products are involved in this recall.
