What does this mean?

If you are taking warfarin and are having trouble controlling your blood clotting time (also called prothrombin time or International Normalized Ratio [INR]), you should ask your doctor or health care professional about the findings from this study at your next visit. Because changes in kidney function usually do not produce noticeable symptoms, some patients may benefit from regular blood tests to monitor kidney function in addition to tests to check blood clotting time.
