Medication Guide Available
Roche Laboratories Inc., the makers of Cellcept (containing the active ingredient mycophenolate mofetil), has published a Medication Guide to provide important safety and efficacy information for patients. This Medication Guide has been developed together with the FDA. The FDA has also required a Medication Guide for mycophenolic acid, marketed as Myfortic by Novartis.

What does this mean?
The Cellcept Medication Guide contains the same safety and benefit information as the currently US FDA approved CellCept Prescribing Information and does not contain any new safety information. The manufacturers of Cellcept developed this Medication Guide to make this safety information about Cellcept easier for patients to understand. From this point forward, a copy of the Cellcept Medication Guide should be provided to you every time you have a CellCept prescription filled. Please review the Medication Guide and follow up with your doctor if you have any questions.
